
If you’re looking for some place new to enjoy an incredible meal on Seattle’s Eastside, you’re in luck. The Eastside has some incredible restaurants, and I’ve put together a list of 10 of my favorites ranging from French to Vietnamese cuisine:
- Café Juanita – Kirkland, WA
Fall in love with Italian food all over again at Café Juanita. The owner, Holly Smith, is a James Beard award-winning chef. There are four seasonally changing tasting menus – omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan. - Pomegranate Bistro – Redmond, WA
If you’re looking for comfort food such as “firebreads, fried chicken, and bourbon braised anything”, this is the place for you. The menu is a combination of Pacific Northwest and Southern fare, made with locally sourced ingredients. - STK Steakhouse – Bellevue, WA
If treating yourself to a meal out calls for steak, STK Steakhouse in Bellevue is highly recommended. If you don’t believe me, just check out all the 5-star reviews. The steak is juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. - DERU – Kirkland, WA
Next time you go out for a weekend brunch, check out DERU market and restaurant. Their delightful brunch menu consists of freshly made favorites like a farm scramble and chicken + gravy. - Maurya – Issaquah, WA
Maurya is a small restaurant located inside of a specialty grocery store in Issaquah’s Gilman Village. The menu features Indian comfort dishes like lamb sukka, biriyani and butter chicken. - Japonessa Sushi Cocina – Bellevue, WA
Do you find yourself craving delectable, fresh sushi? Japonessa “takes traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals and fuses them with flavors from Latin America”. Next time you’re in the mood for sashimi or a salmon roll, swing by their location in Lincoln Square. - Spark Pizza – Redmond, WA
If pizza is more your thing, Spark Pizza in Redmond was recently listed as one of the top 50 pizza places in the US. The pizza is Neapolitan-inspired and wood-fired. And if you’re hungry for dessert, the orange zest cannoli’s are fantastic. - Heritage Restaurant|Bar – Woodinville, WA
Heritage is a modern American restaurant nestled in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country. Their wine menu is excellent, and the seasonal dinner menu includes specialties like Dungeness crab hushpuppies and black cod puttanesca. - Monsoon – Bellevue, WA
Visit Monsoon in downtown Bellevue for contemporary Vietnamese cuisine. You’re sure to love the chic modern setting, as well as the menu which features specialties like cumin lamb and caramelized catfish made with fresh coconut juice and green onion. - Lynn’s Bistro – Kirkland, WA
Lynn’s Bistro is a French restaurant located in downtown Kirkland. Expect dishes like savory filet mignon served with a green peppercorn sauce and decadent bread pudding made with white chocolate, morello tart cherry and rum.
